Ingredients
  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 3 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 roma tomatoes, diced
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 pinch ground cayenne pepper (optional)
  • For Tortilla Chips
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt to taste
Instructions
  1. Prepare the GuacamoleGuacamole and Tortilla Chips
    • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
    • Mash the avocados with a fork until smooth but still chunky.
    • Add lime juice and salt. Mix well.
    • Stir in diced onion, chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, and minced garlic.
    • Add a pinch of cayenne pepper if you like a bit of heat. Mix everything together.
    • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Set aside.
  2. Make the Tortilla ChipsGuacamole and Tortilla Chips
    • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
    • Cut each corn tortilla into 6 wedges.
    • Place the tortilla wedges on a baking sheet. Brush lightly with vegetable oil.
    • Sprinkle with salt to taste.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes or until crispy and golden brown.
    • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
